One of the joys of gardening is reaping the benefits in the kitchen! Growing your own fruit and vegetables and enjoying the harvest at the dinner table is a wonderful thing. Our customers in Blofield are keen home-growers and wanted to give their beloved vegetable patch a makeover, they contacted us to provide a smart new fence that would keep the pets out of the patch.
A picket fence was chosen, a practical fence that is strong, stable and good looking too. The fence posts were given ball top caps for extra flair, making a feature of the area. Oftentimes people are tempted to hide their vegetable patches behind hedges or at the end of the garden, but this approach celebrates the area which we think is a great way to show off the owners’ passion.
Two gates were built giving access to the vegetable patch from different areas of the garden. The 900mm high picket fence and gates were all hand built by our team, with the installation taking three days to complete.
