Over the past few months we’ve worked on several new build estates in Norfolk – supplying Victory Housing for the 24 homes they’ve built in Bacton with the Lowestoft based developer Wellington Construction. The new build development in the coastal village offers affordable housing, with a mixture of flats, bungalows and shared housing. We were approached by Victory and Wellington to build and install fencing for gardens and communal areas as well as constructing wheelie bin stores.
The development is on a site with fields on three sides leaving it vulnerable to the weather. Being so close to the coast, we needed to provide fencing for gardens which can withstand the strong winds that will blow off the sea. We installed a mixture of trellis-topped closeboard fencing and chainlink fences both with concrete posts for the back gardens of properties: two types of fence which will allow wind to pass through and are less likely be blown over by strong winds.
In communal areas, we installed knee rail and birdsmouth fencing around lawns, an attractive and simple solution to prevent cars parking on the greens and easily marking boundaries between neighbours. Picket fencing and gates were built into open brick sheds to create good looking wheelie bin stores that will be shared between neighbours.
We use pressure-treated timber and make everything to measure, providing exactly what is needed without compromise, to budget and with a fifteen-year guarantee. For homeowners or house builders, we provide all your garden construction needs. Get in touch for a free quote on 07947 366551 or email info@npfencing.co.uk
