All the latest company and industry news, gardening tips and interesting installations.
Our trips over the border to Suffolk are becoming more frequent as word spreads about the quality and value of our fencing work. This time the beautiful town of Beccles on the river Waveney was our destination. The job: install 30 metres of close board fencing with concrete posts and gravel board.
Remove Existing Fencing
Part of our prestige service is the removal and disposal of all existing fencing. The back garden of this property already had a fence. It was a rustic affair and had seen better days. The owners of the property requested that we strip out all 30 metres.
New Hand-built Fencing
We hand build all our close board fencing. This is no trouble for our team of skilled carpenters and makes for a sturdier longer-lasting finish than installing pre-built panels – and at a very competitive price!
Concrete Posts and Gravel Board
Fences – eventually even those constructed from pressure treated timber like our own – can become vulnerable to rotting from the bottom upwards. For close board fencing in this style, it is possible to prevent this process by installing a concrete gravel board. The concrete posts and gravel board provide a sturdy protective skeleton for the body of the fence.
